Transparency in Review Process

I am glad that the review process is transparent and clear. This is very amazing to me. This is the kind of thing I wanted to see happen in the future through WikiJournal.Thinkmaths (talk) 06:17, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

The transparency was the same last year: wm2014:Submission review. I appreaciate the openness and traceability as well. --Gereon K. (talk) 22:07, 15 March 2015 (UTC)

Review process stopped?

Has the review process stopped? I have not seen any updates since last week. If there's anyway I can be of some help?Thinkmaths (talk) 09:47, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

No - the process takes several weeks and many Programme Committee members do updates on their reviews in spurts depending on their availability as volunteers during the review period. --Varnent (talk) 05:08, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
Also - it appears there has been activity - keep in mind the edits are done on subpages to this page and not the main page itself. --Varnent (talk) 05:10, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
When I was on the program committee, I kept track of reviews in a spreadsheet and then copied them at once to the wiki. Others might do this way also. Aude (talk) 19:30, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
@Varnent: Are those pages accessible? Thinkmaths (talk) 04:41, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
Yes - Submission review/1Submission review/6 --Varnent (talk) 04:58, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

Missing submission?

Hi, I noticed that this submission is not listed on the review page, presumably because the same submission number has been allocated twice. --Daniel Mietchen (talk) 05:40, 29 March 2015 (UTC)

Thank you - I have gone ahead and fixed that. Sorry! --Varnent (talk) 16:51, 29 March 2015 (UTC)

Submission 3013

Hi, I would like to widraw my submission. I did not get a scholarship and cannot attend Wikimania. Sincerely, Taketa (talk) 17:43, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Submission 6026

Hi, In submission review 6026, final score isn't correct. It must be 9.400.--SusikMkr (talk) 00:55, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Submission review and notifications

Hi, I submitted two talks (#1 and #2) and they were only reviewed by a handful of members of the programme committee. It seems like this happened to all submissions. Can you tell me the reason for this? Also, reading the Programme, I understand that my submissions were rejected. That's totally fine, but I would like to know if you already sent out a notification about this that I missed? Thanks, --Gnom (talk) 13:15, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Both submissions were under review until today (actually in the standby list). The submissions have received a high score but not high enough, and we were waiting to see if some submissions which have recieived a higher score will be withdrawn (due to not getting a scholarship or likewise reasons). Deror avi (talk) 16:58, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
just to note that there are about 20 submissions still pending confirmation and are still not in the public schedule (and are still marked "under review"). Deror avi (talk) 17:15, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
Ah, that's interesting, Deror avi, thanks! Can you also tell me more about why the submissions were only reviewed by a few members of the programme committee? Thanks, --Gnom (talk) 11:55, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
