Abstract (at least 300 words to describe your proposal)

Successful editors have naturally discovered what to do on Wikipedia despite many challenges throughout the way. We can eliminate some of those challenges. From their first dive into the edit button to being a regular contributor, every step of the way matters and the whole experience should be considered. In this talk, we’ll explore ways to invite editors, acknowledge their work and suggest what they can do next. Inviting them to become confident editors making meaningful contributions.

We will talk about projects the foundation worked on in the past, and things we hope to work on in the future! This is part of an on-going conversation, so we invite you to join us with your personal stories of editing struggles and how you prevailed.
