Each Wikimedia Chapter holds annual general meeting. If the work of a Chapter is organized democratically, it may be several groups of members in the Chapter. Periodically, one or another group receives a majority in the Board and elects new chairman of the Chapter. How to organize the transfer of "power" - property, stamp, constituent documents, e-mail administration, domains, etc.? This can be a serious problem. Wikimedia Ukraine, unlike some other Chapters have experience of decent solution to this problem. About pitfalls will tell the initiator and founder and former CEO of Wikimedia Ukraine, now a member of the WMUA Audit Committee, Yuri Perohanych.

In Ukrainian: Кожне відділення проводить щорічні загальні збори. Якщо робота відділень організована демократично, то в організації може виникнути кілька груп членів організації. Періодично то одна то інша група отримує більшість у Правлінні і обирає нового голову організації. Як правильно організувати передачу «влади» — майна, печатки, установчих документів, управління поштою, доменами та ін.? Це може стати серйозною проблемою. Вікімедіа України, на відміну від деяких інших відділень має досвід гідного вирішення цієї проблеми. Про підводні камені розповість ініціатор створення, засновник і колишній виконавчий директор, нині член Ревізійної комісії WMUA Юрій Пероганич.

In Russian: Каждое отделение проводит ежегодное общее собрание. Если работа отделений организована демократически, то в организации может возникнуть несколько групп членов. Периодически то одна то другая группа получает большинство в Правлении и выбирает нового председателя организации. Как правильно организовать передачу «власти» - имущества, печати, учредительных документов, управление почтой, доменами? Это может стать серьезной проблемой. Викимедиа Украина, в отличие от некоторых других отделений имеет опыт достойного решения этой проблемы. О подводных камнях расскажет инициатор создания, основатель и бывший исполнительный директор, ныне член Ревизионной комиссии WMUA Юрий Пероганич.
