Despite the progress of the Wikipedia Education Program in Albania, getting professors/teachers/students to work with Wikipedia is still a challenge here. In our experience, not many teachers/students know how about Wikipedia's sourcing and referencing policies. When we start the tour in schools and universities with WikiAcademy Albania more than one year ago the first questions/reactions were: Can i edit Wikipedia too? I never find enough information on Wikipedia Albania. I mostly use English Wikipedia but I cannot know if the information is true or not. So before teaching them how to edit, it was needed to inform them about the information allowed to be written on Wikipedia, how important is to view and read the references for an article, and to give all the reasons why Wikipedia is a reliable source of information. In school/universities we used to hear this expression: "Dont copy paste it from Wikipedia you'll never know who has written that information" but things are changing, slowly, but are changing for good. More and more professors use Wikipedia as a reference on their lectures. But the problem still the lack of articles in Wikipedia Albania. So main reason of WikiAcademy Tour was teaching students specially professors how to contribute on Wikipedia Albania. Since the tour was in different cities of Albanian follow up was another challenge. Mostly the follow up was via email, but was needed to do more workshops for the students or participants who needed to know more about mark up language of Wikipedia. Unable to travel again, we continued with workshops at our hackerspace. Apart weekly workshops we organized Wikipedia Weekend for 2 days to gather all the wikipedians form Albania in the same place. Our plan is to continue with the education program to extend it in more cities and to focus on professors since they are the key to include more students into program. If they include Wikipedia in they lectures it would be more easy to follow up. What we want to present in our talk is all our work till now, how did we started and all the challenges with the education program. And of course to learn more from others experience on how to go on.
