About me
Ellie brings with her a lot of experience in academic and open culture/tech communities. She worked as Executive Director of USENIX Association for over 20 years, where she and her team supported many international conferences hosted by volunteers each year. Before that she worked at the University of California Press managing and expanding their journals program. She recently served on The Ada Initiative's Board of Advisors and has been an activist for the democratization of information most of her life.
