About meI'm Andres, but you may call me Andy. I'm an environmental engineer living in Mexico City. I've been a Wikimedia Mexico volunteer and member since 2013. Besides Wikimania, I've worked with WMMX in several events, teaching newbies about the basics of editing, helping in several edit-a-thons and in general promotion of free knowledge and free culture. Besides Wikimedia, I'm interested in increasing scientific literacy in the general population, fiction writing and video games. I'm also crazy about singing, and I have sung choral music for over 15 years now (I'm a baritone). |
